Beach Bag Time!

As summer gets closer, I realized that it would be a great idea to make monogrammed beach bags! As an owner of a Cricut, I am always looking out for cute things to monogram! These bags were a great price and they are super nice. All I did was upload my own image, cut it, and ironed it on. It was super easy.

Mason jar madness!

Summer is coming super soon! I know that I only have 21 days left! Yay! While kailey's on vacation showing off her Disney shirts, I am here creating mason jar neighbor gifts! They are so super fun, and everyone I gave them to enjoyed them lots! So, when I went to Micheals, they had these fun mason jar lids! They came with a lid, and these super fun straws! So, I added them to a mason jar, and monogrammed it! To monogram glass, just use your favorite color of vinyl! Here's some pictures! While I was on pintrest, I found lots of adorable mason jar crafts, that can totally be done with a cricut!

Big Hero 6

Hello crafters! I love this new movie by Disney, Big Hero 6! I can't wait to see it again! It is all about a boy named Hiro who has to save the world from his very own creation! It is now on DVD!
So, in the spirit of baymax, my friend was having a big hero 6 party! Anything Baymax makes for an awesome time! I was asked to make Baymax cupcakes, so here is a couple pictures!

Then, as a present we made a baymax shirt! We just used a black and white image of baymax off  of Google and uploaded it! It was easy and super fun! Have any fun creations to share? Email us at cricutcraftsandcreations@gmail.com! Here's some pictures and have a great day!

Bags, bags, bags and more!

Hello everyone! I wanted to show you some fun things I have made lately! If you have any questions or comments just email cricutcrafstandcreations@gmail.com! Thanks for reading!

1- Bow bag
So, when at Micheals or any local craft store you might be able to find cheap bags like I did, that are so fun for presents for others and for yourself! On this bag I used a free Cricut image and added text. Also at a craft store, you can find this fun pink glitter iron on! Then I ironed it on and gave it away, and let me tell you it is a much loved bag!

2- Minnie mouse bag!
So, for this project I used the same bag as I used for the bow bag, but changed it up a lot! For this one I used a Minnie mouse head I found on Google, uploaded it, and added text to the middle! It turned out as one of my favorite things I have made with my Cricut!

Zebra print perfection: This bag was more designed for older kiddos! It was a simple monogram and I added a fun heart for creativity! Like these? Let us know and share your cricut creations with us!

Disney Shirts

Good Afternoon, Crafters!

I cannot believe that two weeks from today, my family and I will be in Florida going to Disney and then boarding the Disney Dream Cruise ship! I can hardly wait!! But, I also can't wait to wear these totally awesome Disney shirts I made for my family and me. It's as simple as uploading an image, adding a font, and cutting! On most of the shirts, I used the font Walter. I hope that you are inspired to make Disney shirts for your next Disney Vacation.

Well, you can! They are easy and quick to make with a cricut! Just choose a fun color of vinyl an apply it to your favorite flip flops!Just remember, push it down all the way! Gifts for everyone

Hello crafters! Today I thought I would share a special secret that no one thinks their Cricut can make, GIFTS! I know! Many people think that gifts have to be bought but you can suit any type of person with a Cricut gift!

The baker:
It can be hard to get a baker a gift! But, with vinyl you can buy a cheap serving spoon or whisk and customize it! Another thing to make is a customized serving plate, or a iron on customized apron!

The artist: For an artist there are endless options! You can make an artsy shirt, create a fun card, or make them a customized supplies bag!

The sport one: This type of person is sometimes the hardest to buy for! You can customize a sporty duffle bag, create a fun shirt to support their favorite team, or make them a fun, colorful, customized water bottle!

The gamer: When making gamer's presents, just remember the helpful hint of uploading! Any favorite logo, character, or game can be a t shirt, card, or bag!

So, with your Cricut you can make so many things! If your considering getting a Cricut, just think of everything you can do with this helpful machine! Start Crafting,

Helpful Hint: Uploading Images

One of the trickiest things to learn to do on your Cricut Explore is figure out how to upload an image and then cut it. After you figure out how to do this step once, you won't ever need to learn it again!
In my opinion, this is the main thing you need to know how to do with your Cricut Explore. By learing this step, you will save money by not having to but any Cricut Cartridges, or any digital images because almost any thing you need is right at your fingertips on google images.

Directions:

1. Right click your image and save it to your device
2. Go on Cricut Design Space and click create new project
3. Click upload images
4. Under basic upload click upload image
5. Click browse
6. Select the image you want
7. Click simple image
8. Click continue
9. In the left hand corner there are 3 icons- crop, select and erase, and erase. Using crop, you will crop out everything in the picture except the part you want to cut. Using select and erase, you can select and erase all the random lines that you don't want to be cut, including the white spaces in the background. Using erase, you can remove spots on your image
10. Once you are done, click continue
11. Then click save
12. Click the image you want and click insert images
13. Click on your image and click the unflatten button in the right (this will flatten the image so you can cut it)
14. Click your image after clicking the unflatten button and make sure it says flatten
15. Then click the printer icon
16. Sometimes it requires you to click fill with solid color, but if not then just click cut
17. Click Go, and now you are ready to cut

I hope this will help you upload images with no problems! Email us if you have any questions at cricutcraftsandcreations@gmail.com.

Whale Monogram Shirt

There are SO many things you can create with your Cricut Explore, that sometimes you just don't know what to make! One of the cutest and coziest things I own, is my whale monogrammed shirt.

This is the preppy monogrammed whale shirt I made.

Here is the whale I used to make my shirt. All you have to do is crop
out the bottom part that says Navy Preppy Whale.

Supplies needed:

-Cricut Explore
-Iron
-Shirt
-Iron on material

At Hobby Lobby, you can get plain sheets of iron with designs, for just $2.99!
They have so many cute patterns. I got my pink and white polka dot iron on there, and my comfy long sleeve black shirt there also. All of this is done in Cricut Design Space, so be sure to login there before you start. Don't freak out! It looks like a lot of steps, but I just gave every little detail so hopefully you won't get confused. If you have any questions, email us at cricutcraftsandcreations@gmail.com

Directions:

1. Right click that image above of the whale and save it to your computer
2. Create a new project, and click upload images.
3. Click basic upload and then browse
4. Click on the whale image you just saved, click simple image, and click continue
5. Crop everything else out except the whale by clicking the square button in the left hand corner
6. Click continue and save
6.Click your image and click insert image
7. Upload your monogram the same way you uploaded your whale (get great monograms at markandgraham.com)
8. Flatten both images
9. Put your monogram in the whale and click the little printer icon and change it to the cut icon which looks like scissors
10. Click select all
11. Click attach
12. Now Go and Cut!
